Warrington Council is committed to making our Careers for Young People website as accessible as possible for all.
We test our pages to ensure that they meet all priority 1 and 2 checkpoints within the WAI recommendations. On occasion this may not be possible when external or 3rd party applications do not meet accessibility checks.
If you or someone you know are experiencing problems accessing this web site, or have any comments on the accessibility of the Careers for Young people web site, please contact us and we will do our very best to help. We have a number of advisers and officers available who can offer help with using the website.
Warrington Council offers a translation service for residents who have limited or no English. This service can be used council wide either in a face to face environment or over the telephone.
We are also able to translate documents into any language on request.
If you need to translate any part of our website you can use services such as Google translate.
We try to write in plain English and avoid jargon. If you don’t understand something, please let us know
Mobile and other devices
Our site has been designed to be as accessible as possible for mobile and other devices. If you do come across a page that does not display correctly on your device please let us know so that we improve the site.
Downloads and documents
Where possible we add documents to our website in PDF format, this allows them to be downloaded and viewed on most devices. To access the documents you will need a copy of Adobe Reader software, most devices come with a copy of this installed but you can download a copy from their website http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
We cannot guarantee or take any responsibility for the accessibility of external sites, if you have issues using any site that is not hosted by the council you should contact the website owner directly.
